Ashwagandha + Rose Morning Milk with Moon Juice’s Sex Dust | Recipe

I’m so excited to share this recipe with you! This calming morning milk has become a cherished part of my routine—something my body now craves and my heart looks forward to. Infused with rose, my faaaavvvvorite flavor and scent, it’s a gentle way to begin the day. ☀️

Sex Dust

My last bottle of Sex Dust expired. I had it for years because I could not find a way to make it a part of my routine on account of its… distinct taste. And this was probably the second time I had to throw away a bottle of the hormone supporting powder. But I have finally cracked the code on how to make it taste good (recipe below.)

So why did I get another bottle when my last two bottles had to be thrown out? Schisandra. Andddd Shatavari and Maca and Cacao. Its marketed for low libido (bcause of the Horny Goat Weed), I can’t attest to that but I keep coming back to it because it is just one of the best blends out there for women’s hormones. All the herbs in sex dust are often recommended to support women’s health.

Ashwagandha

I was at an ayurvedic clinic yesterday and there was a pamplet on the wall dabbing ashwagandha the herb of the month. The poster said: “Ashwagandha is a powerful adaptogenic herb used to support the body's resilience to stress. It helps calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and promote restful sleep. It has anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties, often used to support strength and vitality, particularly in cases of weakness or debility.“ Adaptogens help the body return to homeostasis, helping us cope with stress and fatigue. Other potential benefits include: improving sleep, regulates blood sugar, enhances cognitive function, increases muscle strength. Oh and similar to the other ingredients here, ashwagandha, by balancing stress hormones, may support healthy menstrual cycles.

Rose Powder

I have written about rose powder before in the Soothing Matcha Latte post, it is one of my favorite herbs. Known to be heart opening, rose feels like a getting fairy dust sprinkled on my heart. Keeping in theme with the other ingredients, rose is known to be calming. Herbalists recommend rose to help with healing emotional wounds and promote self love. It is also especially recommend for women. According to Organic Olivia, “…rose has a loving affinity with the womb space. Rose acts as a pelvic decongestant, a blood mover, and is used to break up stagnation and bring warmth and movement to the area. This action, the stimulation of circulation of blood flow to the pelvis, helps to address menstrual difficulties.“ I drank this rose milk durning the bleeding phase of my cycle for this reason.

Here is the recipe if you’d like to give it a try ( let me know if you do!):

Recipe

Note: This makes one serving.

  • 1 tsp Rose Powder

  • 1 tsp Sex Dust

  • 1/4 tsp Ashwaganda

  • Honey, to taste

  • 8.5 oz of oat milk

  • Vanilla, 1/4 tsp or to taste (optional)

Add all the ingredients to a pot. Warm the plant milk gently over low heat, stirring continuously until the powders dissolve and the milk is hot but not boiling. Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy!

The brands I use: Anima Mundi Rose Powder, Moon Juice Sex Dust, Moon Juice Ashwagandha, Oatly Oat milk.

I sometimes use almond milk but the Oatly is the best flavor wise. If you decide to make this milk part of your routine, I do recommend trying other nutmilks, especially if you’re trying to limit oats.

Thanks for being here love 🌷
